  • You can easily repurpose an audiogram or Instagram (or Facebook) story, as well.
  • You can automatically have your Instastories appear on Facebook (I detail how to do this in the episode)
  • Facebook is also experimenting with automatically having Facebook stories appear on Instagram. 
  • Adding an intro and outro to an instastory can dramatically change that social media story into a great piece of video marketing content for an email or future opt in to build your email list.

Hashtags and more to reach your audience on social media

Social Media is FREE advertising and a great way to serve your audience. Here are two more ways to effectively do that.

 In this week's episode:

  • You should put at least two hashtags on each social media post and on every social media platform.
  • Instagram feed posts can have up to 30 hashtags.
  • Use one uniquely branded hashtag and one relevant (topical) hashtag.
  • You cannot own a hashtag, but you can dominate them.
  • Put #businessfabulous in the search of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
  • It's really important to try new things like STORIES on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Instagram users go to stories first!

EASY, proven and FREE strategies to gain online business visibility without ever leaving your home

You don't need to go to major conferences to be visible online and grow your brand! Here are four simple and proven ways to do it, free, without leaving home.

Growing business online visibility, sales and impact with Instagram

When you understand the nuances of Instagram's four distinct parts, you can easily grow your online presence and impact there.

In this week's episode:

  • There are four distinct parts of Instagram: Feed, Live, Stories, IGTV.
  • In order to get the analytics (to see what's working best for your audience) on all of your posts, you must have a business account. I detail how to do this in the episode.
  • Instagram is a hashtag game!
  • You can have up to 30 hashtags in any IG feed post. Any more than that and none of the hashtags will be seen.
  • I provide helpful hashtag tools below! (scroll down to "Mentioned in this episode)
  • The "Swipe Up" feature in the feed is for accounts that have 10,000 followers or more.

Many ways to increase online visibility and grow your business on Facebook

With about 2.5 billion active daily users, Facebook is the most used social media platform available today. If you have a business, it's likely that your customers (or those buying things for them) are on Facebook. Starting off our social media series, this episode is all about Facebook and the many ways you can increase your online visibility there.

  • Everything on Facebook begins with your personal account, also known as your "profile.
